Our work together is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and trust. Every session is a private space for you to explore what’s coming up — emotionally, physically, or somatically — and gently move toward healing.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just ready to shift long-held patterns, our time together is adapted to meet you where you are. We follow your body’s pace, your nervous system’s needs, and what feels right in the moment.

Before beginning, we’ll meet for a short 20-minute call to get to know each other. This is a space for you to ask questions, share a bit about what you're seeking, and see if this work feels like a fit.

What Happens in a Session?

What Happens in a Session?

Each 60-minute session is guided by the principles of Somatic Experiencing® (SE) — a body-based approach to working with trauma and nervous system dysregulation.

Sessions may include:

  • Grounding and stabilization techniques to help you feel safe and present

  • Gentle exploration of physical sensations, emotions, and nervous system patterns

  • Support in noticing activation and returning to regulation

  • Space to slow down, build capacity, and reconnect with your body’s wisdom

You don’t need to come in with a plan — we’ll co-create each session based on what your system needs that day. This is your time, and your body leads the way.

If you feel unsure or anxious at the start, we always begin with calming practices and intentional connection to help you feel safe and supported.

Session Format & Frequency

  • 60-minute sessions

  • Held online via Practice Better’s secure video platform

  • Flexible frequency — Weekly is recommended for consistency, but we’ll adapt to your schedule and needs.

You can book single sessions or a package for ongoing support. Many clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum and gradually space them out as their nervous system gains more stability.

FAQs

What exactly is Somatic Experiencing?
Somatic Experiencing® is a trauma-resolution method that focuses on helping the nervous system return to its natural rhythm. It doesn't require talking through all the details of your past. Instead, we work with your body's sensations and signals — slowly building capacity and gently unwinding stored tension and survival responses.

Is this like therapy or coaching?
This is a different kind of support. I’m not a licensed therapist or coach — I’m a certified somatic practitioner who works specifically with the nervous system. My role is to guide you in connecting with your felt sense, tracking patterns, and supporting your system in coming back into regulation.

How will I know if it’s working?
Healing isn’t always linear, but you might notice changes like fewer panic responses, more emotional clarity, better boundaries, or a deeper sense of peace in your body. These shifts tend to happen gradually and sustainably, through consistent work over time.
